Watch out, Dave Bashford – there’s a new boy on the scene and he’s moving in on your girl!
Sam Frost made a splash when she arrived in Home And Away’s Summer Bay and now it appears that love could be blossoming on the set.
Yep, Sam, 28, and her co-star Jake Ryan, who plays rugged Robbo, have reportedly become rather fond of each other.
In fact, a source tells NW that Jake, 34, can’t stop gushing about Sam.
“It was a little weird listening to Jake talk about Sam,” spills our insider.
Jake and Sam regularly appear in each others social feeds.
“He was explaining that they have such great chemistry and saying how much he adores her.”
Uh-oh!
What’s more, this isn’t the first time Jake has apparently harboured a crush on a taken co-star.
Just months ago he was reported to have made a move on his on-screen love interest Pia Miller, 33, allegedly “bombarding her with texts”.
“Jake has a reputation for falling for his leading ladies, so we all thought it was only a matter of time until he and Pia were an item,” the source tells.
Sam has been dating Dave for seven months.
And, to make matters worse, insiders speculate that Sam and Jake’s characters will end up between the sheets!
“People have said before that playing up a romance for the cameras can suddenly become all too real for Jake,” says an insider.
“That’s a red flag right there, if you ever saw one!”
Despite her co-stars crush, Sam only has eyes for one man – her boyfriend of seven months, navy diver Dave.
“Sam and Dave are rock solid – they’re very in love,” says another source.
