Samantha Armytage and Russell Crowe have tried to keep the sizzling chemistry between them under wraps. But they can’t hide it any longer now that they’ve been reunited on home ground.
The pair only had eyes for each other during Rusty’s appearance on Sunrise last week, and according to sources, a blushing Sam couldn’t contain her excitement at the prospect of seeing the rugged star again.
“She was like a kid before Christmas,” says an insider. “They have a lot of fun together and Russell stayed behind after the interview to chat to her and they were laughing a lot.”
And it seems even viewers think they would make the most adorable couple ever after picking up on the flirty glances the pair exchanged during the segment.
“You two make a nice couple. How ’bout it @sam_armytage?” posted one fan under a picture Sam posted of herself with the Gladiator actor. “Mr & Mrs Crowe,” wrote another.

Sparks first flew between the two when Sam, 37, interviewed Rusty, 50, for his role in the blockbuster hit Man Of Steel.
Samantha later came clean to her Sunrise co-stars, admitting to her schoolgirl crush.
“I really like him,” she revealed. “Rusty is good fun.”

Now that he’s back in? Oz to promote his directorial debut The Water Diviner, he’s set his sights firmly?on romancing the unlucky-in-love TV host.
Sam recently changed up her look and is sporting a brand new bob.
“Sam was so excited to see him again on Sunrise,” we’re told. “She kept playing with her hair and making sure she looked perfect before he arrived.”
