Media mogul Rupert Murdoch and former supermodel Jerry Hall have sealed the deal on their whirlwind romance, marrying at the weekend in London.

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch, 84, and former supermodel Jerry Hall, 59, have sealed the deal on their whirlwind romance, marrying over the weekend in London.

The smitten duo, who shocked the world in November last year when they went public with their surprise relationship, kicked off their celebrations with a private ceremony at Spencer House in central London on Friday.

On Saturday, they held a blessing service for friends and family at St Bride's church on the famous Fleet Street, which is the mecca of British journalism.

Jerry looked gorgeous in a baby blue gown by Vivienne Westwood, she finished off her look with a pair of silver ballet flats so she didn't tower over her 178cm tall new husband.

All ten of the couple's children from their previous relationships were in attendance, including Rupert's son Lachlan and his wife Sarah Murdoch. Meanwhile Jerry's model daughter's Georgia May and Lizzie Jagger acted as bridesmaids.

Other celebrity guests included Sir Bob Geldof, Sir Michael Caine, Barry Humphries and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber.

"No more tweets for ten days or ever! Feel like the luckiest AND happiest man in world," a smitten Rupert tweeted after the celebrations.

But not everyone is on cloud nine over the wedding. A source told The Daily Mail Jerry's ex Mick Jagger is furious.

"He has been seething because this means that Rupert Murdoch is going to become a part of his extended family, and Mick has a real problem with that," the insider revealed.

This is the first public relationship for the billionaire since the demise of his 14-year marriage to Wendi Deng, 46, back in 2013.

Unlike the 38-year age difference between the News Corp owner and his ex-wife, there is a 25-year age gap between the Melbourne-born businessman and the former partner of Rolling Stones star, Mick.

This marks Rupert's fourth trip down the aisle after he was previously married to Wendi, former Melbourne flight attendant Patricia Booker and Scottish journalist Anna Torv.

Jerry married Mick in Bali in 1990, however they later found out their union was technically invalid. They split in 1999.
