Y’know that saying, ‘Only the good die young’. Well, when Robin Williams passed away last year he wasn’t all that young but boy, was he good.
Today marks one year since Robin Williams died.
Robin took his own life on August 11 last year after “battling severe depression”, an official statement released at the time read.
The loss was both tragic and sudden and the world tried to let the actor know how much they would miss him with tributes for the comedian flooding the internet.
At the time his wife Susan Schneider released a statement saying she was “utterly heartbroken”.
“This morning I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings,” she said in the statement.
While Robin’s struggle with mental illness and addiction were well documented he gave countless moments of joy and laughter.
