Elvis Presley’s only child, Lisa Marie, has passed away at age 54.

But whilst most of society knows a general amount about her famous dad, less is known about her mother, Priscilla Presley, who shot to stardom when she married Elvis Presley at 21-years-old in 1967.

Lisa Marie Presley, was welcomed into the world a year later, but the world was shocked when her parents divorced in 1973.

The pair famously remained friends until the King of Rock and Roll passed away in 1977.

On the British talk show Loose Women, Priscilla told the hosts in 2016, “I did not divorce [Elvis] because I didn’t love him.

“He was the love of my life, truly. If anything, I left because I still loved him—I needed to find out what the world was like, really.”

While Elvis is a tough act to follow, an entrepreneur called Marco Garibaldi stole Priscilla’s heart in the early 1980s.

The pair eventually had a son called Navarone Garibaldi, but after two decades, they decided to split up in 2006.

Priscilla hasn’t had a public relationship since, but her professional success has grown.

The 77-year-old is an executor for the Presley estate, and she created the Elvis Presley Enterprises. She notably turned Graceland into a tourist destination, and has built lucrative merchandising, publishing, and licensing deals.

She has also branched out from the Elvisverse by starting a career in television and film. The mother-of-two worked on Dallas, The Naked Gun, plays, and Wedding at Graceland and also has her own fashion and perfume brands.

Known for her unique beauty, she has evolved from a 60s darling to a modern businesswoman.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Priscilla has an estimated net worth of $50 million.

As she transformed from a young wife to a bonafide businesswoman, her style has become more sleek, clean, and she wears her former beehive hairstyle straight – often donning red locks like her granddaughter Riley Keough.

Over the years, there has been chatter about her declining health, and the rumours became so relentless she was forced to speak out against the claims.

“As I have stated before, I’m in very good health, I’m not dying, and I still have my memory,” she wrote on Twitter.

“Don’t put me under yet… I have too much to do in this lifetime. Where these crazy articles come from is beyond me.”

Fans of the star have also noted her evolving appearance, and Priscilla’s team spoke out about her previous botched work from a now-disgraced plastic surgeon.

A spokesperson revealed Dr Daniel Serrano had administered low-grade silicone into her face, which is similar to the product mechanics use to grease parts of cars.

“Priscilla Presley was one of many documented victims of Dr. [Daniel] Serrano,” said the statement. “An investigation which uncovered his misconduct ultimately led to his imprisonment. Ms. Presley dealt with this matter years ago, and everything is now well.”

In Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming movie biopic ELVIS, actress Olivia DeJonge will play the singer’s wife. Priscilla herself only had good words to say on her Facebook page.

“It is a true story told brilliantly and creatively that only Baz, in his unique artistic way, could have delivered. Austin Butler, who played Elvis is outstanding,” she shared.

Priscilla and Baz were photographed together at Cannes, where the film premiered to mixed reviews – but as long as she is happy, fans can rest assured the King would be too.
