The English summer is coming to a royally romantic end for both Will and Kate’s younger siblings!
Hot on the heels of stories that Prince Harry’s girlfriend Cressida Bonas is prepping herself for princess duties, news has now leaked of impending wedding bells for Pippa Middleton.
Word is that the Duchess of Cambridge’s 29-year-old younger sister has secretly gotten engaged to her stockbroker boyfriend, Nico Jackson.
Pippa has only been dating the dashing 35-year-old stockbroker for a little over six months but the whirlwind romance has already reached the serious commitment phase.
The couple are said to be waiting until after Pippa’s 30th birthday at the end of this week to officially announce their big news.
Speculation is that they’ll tie the knot next English spring.
“Pippa loved seeing Kate go down the aisle and now it is her turn for a fairytale wedding,” one of her friends told UK paper Sunday People.
“She couldn’t be more sure that Nico is the right man for her. They are such a good fit for each other and their families get on really well. Everyone is so happy for Pippa.”
Pippa famously drew plenty of attention at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s 2011 wedding, with her Alexander McQueen dress and curvy bottom getting as much media attention as her sister saying “I do”.
The question on everyone’s lips now is whether Kate will return the bridesmaid favour and follow in Pippa’s train at her wedding?
“It remains to be seen whether Kate will be bridesmaid,” a close source said.
“Everyone knows how close the sisters are but at this stage the final arrangements are a long way off. Pippa’s wedding will be a huge occasion but if Kate is bridesmaid it will be even more high-profile.”
The ceremony is likely to take place in a local church.
