In today’s edition of beefs that are 100% not making a comeback: the one-time cold war between Pink and Christina Aguilera.
So if we could all holler: Where’s all mah soul sistas?
The two divas were at the 2017 American Music Awards and both ladies took to the stage to perform.
Everything was going pretty swimmingly.
Just scaling a building… All part of Pink’s charm!
Pink showed off her skills defying gravity, belting out her mega hit Everybody Hurts, while Xtina was gifted the great honour of performing a tribute to Whitney Houston in honour of the 25th anniversary of the 1992 film, The Bodyguard.
Christina’s medley included I Will Always Love You, followed by I Have Nothing, Run To You and I’m Every Woman.
With such an emotionally charged dedication, it’s not a huge surprise that a few notes might not hit the mark.
But the AMA audience seemed wowed and the Dirrty hitmaker received a standing ovation.

This is the face that spun many into a real-life tizzy…
Yet fans at home were transfixed on one thing.
On one particularly hard note to reach during Christina’s set, the camera cut to Pink’s face… And there was a lot happening.
Some people interpreted the look as frown, a grimace, a scowl, or as many twitter users called it “throwing major shade.”
Well, now there’s no need for you or Twitter to try to interpret the facial expressions of Pink’s.
Because the queen of no bull—- herself has spoken out on the matter.
Pink reposted a tweet from Mark Sundstrum: “@Pink and @Xtina deaded their beef last year and have been FRIENDS since, respecting each other’s amazing talent as grown women. stop creating something out of nothing @TheShadyFacts.”
The honourary Aussie then made her closing argument, telling her fans, “Yes. THIS. Christina f–king killed it tonight for one of our favorite singers ever. This about Whitney, and I am in awe of Christina’s talent. Show the clip where I’m in tears, you negative Nancy’s [sic].”
There were real emotions during Xtina’s tribute.
Not that we like dredging up old drama…
Why did Pink hate Christina Aguilera?
The Moulin Rouge collaborators have locked horns in the past.
We’d made it past Y2K, and it was 2001.
Both singers were mega stars… And collaborators on the Moulin Roug! soundtrack with Mya and Lil’ Kim for everyone’s fav girl power anthem Lady Marmalade.
There was a battle on who would get the lead vocals.
In 2009, Pink told VH1 Behind the Music: “[Label exec] Ron Fair walked in. He didn’t say hi to any of us and said, ‘What’s the high part? What’s the most singing part? Christina’s going to take that part.’ I stood up, and I said ‘Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that’s what the f—— meeting’s about.'”
For all those who remember the banger, it was Christina who really took us to Moulin Rouge, landing the main part.
Things were awkward between the pair, and Pink even admits that Xtina tried to hit her, or as she puts it, “swung at me in a club.”
She told Andy Cohen, “We were super young and super new at the whole thing, and I think I’m an alpha, and she’s an alpha.”
Adding, “I’m used to taking my altercations physical and she’s used to having them verbal. We’re just very different, we’re very different. And we were very young and new.”
So it wasn’t all smiles and grooving…
Don’t worry kids, it’s all good now!
Pink recently said, “She’s so talented and deep down I’ve had bad days, too.”
“She’s a really sweet person. We made up on The Voice. I mean, it was funny, I laughed. I hadn’t seen her in years and years and years.”
Apparently, being hot mamas helped them build their metaphorical bridge.
“We became mums. We grew up. We hugged it out. It’s that simple. I feel so good about that.”
