Peaches Geldof’s death still a mystery

What killed Peaches Geldof remains a mystery, after a post mortem examination into the 25-year-old’s death came back ‘inconclusive’.

The second daughter of musician, Bob Geldof, and the late Paula Yates, was found dead at her London home on Monday. There was no evidence of injury or suicide.

Police say they are now waiting for toxicology test results, and that it could take weeks before they determine exactly how the mother of two died.

Meanwhile, investigations continue at the models home, with forensic teams seen scouring through rubbish bins and walking around the property with sniffer dogs.

“The death is being treated as a non-suspicious, but an unexplained sudden death,” Police said.

“Officers are working to establish the circumstances and will be compiling a report of their findings for the coroner.”

Peaches was 11-years-old when her own mother died of an accidental drug overdose.

She leaves behind her husband, S.C.U.M singer Thomas Cohen, and their sons Astala, 23 months, and one year old Phaedra.

The day after her sisters unexpected death, Fifi Trixibelle, took to instagram to pay tribute to her little sister, sharing a picture of her and Peaches pulling faces when they were little.

An accompanying message read: “My beautiful baby sister … Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x.”

Peaches’ father, Bob Geldof, released a statement saying that the family was “beyond pain”.
