Growing up in Neverland with dad Michael Jackson has always inspired Paris to make a name for herself.

And now at 18, the King of Pop’s only daughter is stepping out from his shadow.

The striking teenager dazzles on the latest cover of the US Harper’s Bazaar and reveals some fascinating details about growing up as a Jackson.

“All anyone wants to talk about is my father, and it makes me sad,” Paris tells the glossy, before admitting she was his favourite child.

“When I was a kid, I was with my dad and my two brothers. Growing up, I was treated as the favourite because I was the only girl. I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad’s eyes,” the cover girl admits.

Like any teen, Paris isn’t exempt from online bullying, and in her case it might worse than your average mean comments.

“There are some days when I still don’t want to deal with any of it,” she says nonchalantly to the magazine about online harassment on her social media, “There are some days where I’m like, ‘Nope, I’m not going to go online.’ There are days when I’m too sensitive.”

Paris’ unconventional upbringing also changed her social life, and meant she didn’t have any friends her own age when she was growing up.

“The first 12 years of my life I was homeschooled,” she explains, “which means that the only interactions I’d ever had were with family members or other adults.”

Paris was just 11 when Michael died, and a year later the model says she “didn’t have social skills. I had to force myself to learn so fast.”

“For the past six years, I’ve been learning how to communicate. And I think I’ve gotten pretty good at it,” the budding star says.

Meanwhile in another interview, Paris’ older brother Prince Michael Jackson admits how similar the pair are.

“Basically, as a person, she is who my dad is,” he told Rolling Stone.

“The only thing that’s different would be her age and her gender.”

Prince adds to the comparison “in all of her strengths, and almost all of her weaknesses as well. She’s very passionate. She is very emotional to the point where she can let emotion cloud her judgment.”

2017 has already been a blazing success for the stunner.

In January, she rocked the cover of Rolling Stone.

The LA native is also set to make her acting debut in the upcoming musical-drama series called Star.
