A mini-Hilton is on the way, and everyone knows that the most exciting part of baby news, despite the news itself, is the big gender reveal.
Luckily for Nicky Hilton, her sister Paris decided to save her the trouble by taking the liberty of announcing her impending baby’s gender in a red carpet chat with Us Weekly.
Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild married in July 2015 in a lavish ceremony held at London’s Kensington Palace.
“I’m so excited for the baby!” Paris exclaimed at the FIT’s Annual Gala at the Plaza Hotel in New York City on Monday, May 9.
“She’s going to be such a beautiful little girl, and I can’t wait to meet her.”
The 35-year-old continued to gush about her excitement for the arrival of her little niece, describing the sweet ways her sister and husband James Rothschild have been preparing for their new addition.
“They’ve been getting the nursery ready so I’ve been going to all the baby stores,” the blonde beauty began.
“Now that I know it’s a girl, it’s getting easier to buy things for her. I love all the dresses I got her. There are so many beautiful dresses and little princess outfits. So I can’t wait to see her in them.”

Evidently, the Stars Are Blind songstress – who recently broke up with boyfriend of one year Thomas Gross – can’t wait to welcome her little niece. “I’m just excited to meet her! And just do aunt things.”
So, now that we have a gender, how about a name?
When asked if she could drop any hints regarding the title of the sweet bub, Paris responded: “My favorite name for a baby is London, but that’s for my baby! For her, I don’t know.”
“They are both friends and remain close but with their busy work schedules and the long distance it just got too difficult,” an insider revealed of Paris’ split from Thomas Gross earlier this month.
The Hollywood A-lister has expressed her keen desire to start a family in the past. On more than one occasion, the party girl turned DJ described bringing a child into the world as “the meaning of life.”
“One day I’d love to get married and have kids,” she quipped to Closer magazine.
“I see how happy Nicky is. That’s the true meaning of life: to find the love of your life and start a family.”
We hope for Paris that her happily ever after – although postponed following her breakup earlier this year – comes along soon!
Until then, the blonde beauty will continue to travel the world searching for the one.
