We have become well acquainted with the lockdown birthday playbook, which seems to include giant balloons, a cake, and a doting message.

It’s a pint-sized version of the festivities that would have been planned if the world was normal, but alas, we’ve worked out how to make the most out of a sticky situation.

Yesterday, presenter Osher Gunsberg gave fans a glimpse into his family life by sharing a special family birthday moment of his own.

His son Wolfgang, aka Wolfie, has turned two years old and to celebrate, Osher and his wife Audrey decorated their living room with giant silver “Happy Birthday” balloons and embellished the rest of the space with blue and white balloons.

Wolf is pictured jumping around with a huge smile on his face, which is a sure sign the toddler was more than happy with his parents’ arrangement.

The Bachelor host decided to dedicate his post to his wife, who he thanks for making him a father.

“Yes it’s Wolf’s birthday – but every day is another day I remember the incredible power of @audreygriffen and how she created two incredible humans and brought them both into the world.

“@audreygriffen Happy 2nd Birthday our beautiful little boy! Oh, how we all love you ❤️❤️,” he said.

In the comment section, one fan was in disbelief over how old Wolf is. They wrote, “OMG 2 already? No, surely not. Happy Birthday little man. Xx,” and another fan commented, “Happy birthday to the coolest most stylish cutie!”

On Audrey’s post of the same picture, the freelance makeup artist and hairstylist penned a short but sweet message dedicated to her boy.

She wrote, “Happy 2nd Birthday, our beautiful little boy! Oh, how we all love you ❤️❤️.”

In March 2020, Osher spoke to The Australian Women’s Weekly about fatherhood and how it has become his number one priority.

“The only idea for 2020 would be that the most important job I have, which is being a husband and father, is the one I do best,” he said.

“All I want to do is build a future for these kids, that’s it. And for someone as selfish as me that’s a big deal.”
