In a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, mum-to-be Chrissy Teigen revealed that the president of the United States gave her chosen baby name his official approval.

The time has almost arrived for the beautiful Chrissy Teigen and her singer husband John Legend to welcome their genetically blessed baby into the world, so naturally, it’s time to pick a baby name!

Fortunately for the couple, they have a few very high profile friends to help them narrow down the list.

The 30-year-old recently stopped by The Late Show to have a chat with Stephen Colbert about her new book Cravings. While cooking up some rice paper rolls, the mum-to-be began to talk about the potential names for her unborn baby girl.

“We change it all the time, so if you have a suggestion…” she told the late-night talk show host before launching into a particularly unique story.

Apparently, the soon-to-be parents are having a little bit of trouble settling on a name, so the model decided to gather the opinion of her respected pal, Barack. Yes, as in Obama.

“I asked Barack,” she began before Colbert interrupted with laughter at her casual first-name reference to the 44th president of the United States.

“I asked President Obama if he liked one of our name choices and he said he did,” she continued.

The expectant mum looked radiant as she stepped out in New York earlier this month.

Since the clock is ticking before the mid-April due date, the model hoped that by getting Obama’s Presidential seal of approval, she could sway hubby John to agree on her number one choice.

“John isn’t sold on the name, so I figured if [the president] liked it, then John would be sold on it,” she revealed. “He says it’s too ‘Hollywood.'”

Unfortunately, Chrissy remained tight-lipped enough not to disclose the shortlist to the audience, so it seems that we will just simply have to wait until the baby Legend is born!

If the name is good enough for Obama, then it’s good enough for us!
