Aussie singer Natalie Imbruglia expecting her first child via ‘sperm donor’

“For those of you who know me, this has been something I have wanted for a very long time!”

In some wonderful news, Aussie singer Natalie Imbruglia is expecting her first child!

The Torn singer made the announcement on her Instagram account, revealing that she is expecting the bundle of joy in autumn.

“For those of you who know me, this has been something I have wanted for a very long time,” Natalie captioned the post.

“I’m blessed that this is possible with the help of IVF (in vitro fertilisation) and a sperm donor,” before adding: “I won’t be saying anything more on that publicly.”

The pregnancy announcement came after news that she had also signed a record deal with music powerhouse BMG.

“There is another announcement…(no I haven’t swallowed a watermelon).”

“I’m so excited about this next adventure… a new album and I’m going to be a mum! 🎶🤰🏻🎉😍❤️✨” she wrote.

The 44-year-old was most recently linked to photographer Matt Field, however has dated a slew of celebs including David Schwimmer, Lenny Kravitz, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and of course, was married to Daniel Johns from Silverchair from 2003 to 2008.

However, an Instagram post in May, was accompanied by the hashtag #allthesingleladies and we must say, we couldn’t be happier for her!

Natalie shot to fame when she released the worldwide hit Torn from her debut album Left of the Middle.

She also starred on Neighbours in the 90s and appeared as a judge on X Factor in 2010.
