Well, as it turns out, those present during their backstage bump-in at the Moschino Resort 2017 show in LA on Friday say it was as upbeat and bubbly as a Katy Perry song.
While it could have been awkward considering Katy is currently dating Miranda’s ex-husband, Orlando Bloom, the pair proved just how chummy they are by posing for a selfie.
According to witnesses, the stars were extremely amicable.
“Miranda came backstage and she went straight to the makeup chairs where Katy was hanging out and she greeted Katy with a hug,” an onlooker told E! News.
“They took selfies together and chatted like best friends for at least 10 minutes before Katy left.”
Later on as the fashion show kicked off, Katy sat front row and cheered as the Aussie supermodel strutted down the runway.

“When Miranda first stepped out at the start of the show, some people were cheering and Katy was clapping and whistling too for her,” the insider added to E! News.
“At the end of the show, Katy clapped and cheered for Miranda a little louder and Miranda smiled so there clearly was no weird tension.”
Last month the Teenage Dream hitmaker put split rumours to rest after Orlando was pictured cosying up to former flame, Selena Gomez, at a Las Vegas nightclub.

Taking to Instagram the 31-year-old published a collection of loved up shots of the pair.
Meanwhile it’s not the first time Miranda has played nice with one of her ex-husband’s ladies.
On multiple occasions the mother-of-one has hung out with Selena Gomez.
Orlando and Miranda, who share son Flynn, called time on their marriage in 2013.
Making the plot even more complicated is the fact the KORA Organics creator was rumoured to have hooked up with Selena’s on-off lover Justin Bieber after the Victoria’s Secret show in 2012.
Despite the intimate cross-overs between Selena and Miranda, the two ladies are pals. In May, the Aussie stunner shared a snap with the singer on Instagram (below).
Who knows, maybe the next selfie will feature Miranda, Katy and Selena? Stranger things have certainly happened.
