It’s not everyday your baby turns one!

And despite her hectic schedule, Michelle Bridges has started to prep for Axel’s big milestone.

On Friday, the 46-year-old shared a video of herself baking a cake for her little man.

Although it was her son’s first taste of cake, the fitness guru made sure it was a healthy treat and opted for carrot cake.

“Hi everyone! I’ve just done a work out and as much as I should be doing a thousand things, I’m actually cooking Axel’s first birthday cake.”

“There’s mess everywhere… We have a double sandwich carrot cake, yeah!” The excited mum beamed.

Accompanying the video, the former Biggest Loser star quipped: “First Birthday Cake! You only turn 1 once right? I’m honoured to make my sons 1st birthday cake, even though I am so under the pump to be doing other ‘work related’ things.”

“To us, there are more important things….turning 1 is definitely right up there! Don’t cha think? Take the time…”

Axel will officially turn one on December 19 but it seems like Michelle and her partner Steve “The Commando” Willis are keen to kick off the celebrations.

Happy birthday, Axel!

The Commando and Michelle’s son will officially ring in his first birthday on December 19.

Since welcoming her first child with The Commando, Michelle has continued to to expand her fitness empire and spread her message.

“Having Axel has really made me think about how I can use what I’ve learnt about health and fitness to make a better life for kids like him,” Michelle explained on Australian Story in April.

“I’d like to tackle the junk food industry the way that the tobacco industry was tackled 50-odd years ago. We’re now seeing children that potentially have a lifespan shorter than their parents. Never before have we ever seen that globally.”

“I’d like to get out there and start fighting the fight for others who can’t fight the fight.”
