Michael Jackson’s teenage daughter Paris says she is battling addiction and going to AA meetings.
The 17-year-old only daughter of the late King of Pop, made the admissions on a lengthy rant on social media this week where she made reference to feeling the same overwhelming scrutiny her father faced before he died of a drug-related overdose in 2009.
Paris was just 10 when her father died and has struggled to deal with the devastating loss as well as the well-publicised in-fighting from the Jackson clan over Michael’s estate and she attempted suicide in 2013 at just 15.
But as she told fans she’s committed to not going down the same troubled road as her dad.
“This is f–king ridiculous. I am expected to literally sit on my ass all day replying to comments people leave me (positive and negative)?” Paris raged.
“I have AA meetings to go to. Family obligations. PERSONAL obligations.
“It’s so f–king selfish that I am literally attacked on ever f–king thing I post just because people that I DON’T EVEN KNOW aren’t getting what they want.
“I don’t know any of you. I appreciate the love and support, but the expectations are f–king ridiculous.
“The expectations for my DAD were f–king ridiculous. He didn’t owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY. I will not let that happen to me.”

Paris recently broke up with her boyfriend of a year, soccer player Chester Castellaw, has been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons of late.
She debuted some shocking new ink earlier this month – a giant dragon down her arm – and has been criticised for smoking underage, actions she defended with an Instagram comment that read:
“I get it guys. I get it. Smoking isn’t cool. I get it.
“Sure as hell beats everything else in my past though. This is the least bad thing I could be doing right now. Especially compared to over half the population of 17-year-old girls in this country.”

Paris stands to earn millions from her late father’s estate when she turns 18 in April.
