Luisana Lopilato’s sister Daniela reportedly messaged Argentinian journalist Tomas Dente, commenting on the sad news and addressing speculation over what cancer Noah has.

“To tell you the truth, I’m devastated. This is very recent,” Daniela is said to have texted.

“The only thing I ask is that you don’t speculate because not everyone has children and can understand what this means.”

The Canadian star’s sister-in-law revealed that Michael and his wife are “broken in half” over the diagnosis, and she expects the parents will reveal more information in the future.

She also shut down reports that her nephew is from leukemia, or cancer which affects the central nervous system.

“Michael and my sister will publish more statements and I can’t say anymore but it’s not leukemia or the central nervous system as people are saying,” she said.

“That’s all I can say.”

Michael’s sister-in-law, Daniela [inset], has spoken out about how the family are dealing.

On Friday, November 4th, Michael, 41, announced on his Facebook page that his firstborn was suffering from the deadly disease and is subsequently undergoing treatment.

“We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children,” his joint statement with his 29-year-old wife read.

“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.”

Adding,”At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

Michael and Luisana are also parents to their youngest, ten-month-old son Eli.

According to Us Weekly, the couple, who wed in 2011, are “staying positive”, with a close family friend telling the publication that, “Noah is a fighter.”

The source also mentioned that the brave parents have been “inundated with kind wishes today, and that’s really helping.”

Among those sending their love and support is Shannen Doherty.

The actress, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last February, shared a message of support.

“I can’t even begin to touch that one to be honest, because it’s a three-year-old. I would imagine your child having cancer is devastating as a parent,” the 45-year-old told ET Online.

“Just trust in your doctors,” she said.

“Make sure you have amazing doctors, a great team and know that organisations like the American Cancer Society, Stand Up to Cancer, they are doing so much good for cancer. And [there is] so much research that we have much better chances now. Stay positive.”

Michael is completely smitten with fatherhood, regularly gushing about his darling little ones.

Just last week the proud dad chatted to US Magazine about his love for both his boys.

“[I] just pray that everything stays good and they are happy and healthy and all of that,” he mused, adding that watching the brothers making each other laugh is “a beautiful thing!”

In fact, the boys are always making their dad smile.

Incredible footage of the singer and his eldest son has emerged, with the pair showing off their singing skills in a very sweet duet during a New Year’s Eve party last December.

“I promised someone here I would do a bit of a duet with them, and I don’t know if they’re going to do it with me,” the Canadian crooner gushed before grabbing Noah and bringing his on stage.

While singing has been a huge factor in his, the Grammy winner mused that now his family are the most important thing.

“[Fatherhood] has given me great perspective.”

“It has helped me to draw a line in the sand and to know that I am defined by being a father and a family man, not by my job,” the 41-year-old admitted.

“They give me a very clear understanding of what is important to me.”
