Channel Seven journalist and radio presenter Melissa Doyle has been a much-loved, regular fixture on our TV screens for almost 20 years, but looking at new photos of the stunning 49-year-old on the red carpet last night, it seems she has not aged a day.

The Sunday Night host looked gorgeous at the Sydney premiere of Chicago the Musical on Tuesday night, in a chic black dress with on-trend bell sleeves.

The former Sunrise host is clearly making the most of her more civilised wake-up call time, after parting ways with the breakfast TV show in 2016.

As well as her hosting duties with Sunday Night, Mel also has a part-time radio gig, hosting Weekend Breakfast on the popular FM station smoothfm.

We had a look back at photos of Mel from 10-12 years ago and she looks … remarkably similar.

In these pictures below taken in 2009 and 2007, Mel looks gorgeously fresh-faced.

She literally has not aged at all and we need to know her entire AM-PM skincare regimen immediately.

Mel has previously opened up about how she feels about ageing, as she is about to hit her 50th birthday milestone.

“I have to admit, when I was approaching 40, I had a little bit of a panic attack,” she told TV WEEK in 2017.

“I thought, ‘Oh, my God – I’m a woman and I’m going to be 40. And I’m on television and is that all over?'”

But over time, she says she’s made peace with the ageing process.

“Every now and then I glance in the mirror, or look at a two-shot on camera, and see a few extra wrinkles. But I’m happy, because they’re laugh lines, not frown lines,” she said.

“I’m cool with it. That’s how old I am. That’s how I’m meant to look. I’m not meant to look like I did 20 years ago, and I’m not meant to feel like I felt 20 years ago.”

Mel has also been open about the fact that leaving Sunrise actually did wonders for her health.

She realised that she needed to make a change and lose a little weight while she was balancing the early morning starts of Sunrise and raising a family.

“It was only a few kilos. It wasn’t a lot, just a couple of kilograms, but it made a difference. And that started something for me,” she told The Australian Women’s Weekly last year.

It motivated her to start taking her health seriously and embark on an exercise regimen.

“I have a treadmill at home. I try to make sure that I do an hour a day if possible. However, that’s not a hard-and-fast rule. Some days I just don’t have the energy and, as I said, I am listening to that now,” she said.
