According to The Daily Telegraph the 47-year-old signer has moved on with Adam Long.

Like Russell, the Sydney-sider is also in the arts working as an illustrator and writer.

Adam, who prefers to go by the nickname Ad, grew up in Canberra before moving to Sydney to study architecture.

The self-described artist just released a crime book, Too Greedy To Live, he is also a regular commentator on The Guardian, where he shares his thoughts on a range of topics from religions, arts to politics and according to his Facebook page, he has an adult son.

Ironically, his footy team happens to be the South Sydney Rabbitohs, who are owned by Danielle’s ex.

It would seem the pretty blonde adores her creative beau and on Friday evening, she took things a step further by introducing him to her family at a restaurant in Sydney’s Double Bay.

According to the paper, the couple couldn’t have looked more loved up; with eye-witnesses noticing the duo had no problem with PDA.

“It is very early days. He is a really lovely guy. They have struck up a great friendship,” a source admitted to the publication.

The starlet, who split with Russell four years ago, made the dinner a family affair with dad Don Spencer, mum Julie plus her husband Gerard Whittaker along with her 12-year-old son Charles all in attendance.

Just one month ago at the InStyle and Audi Women Of Style Awards gala, Danielle hinted love may be on the cards.

“I think the best attitude in life is to be open to things,” she quipped.

Meanwhile, the actress’ ex seems to have the same thing on his mind.

Russell recently told Sunday Style magazine he was on the lookout for a new love.

Russell was married to his wife Danielle for nearly a decade.

“There is a craving for some sort of intimacy in the future … and I’m not talking sexually; it is starting to grow inside me again,” he said.

“I really need that. I thought I could just tough it out and not worry too much. But you just want the feeling that you have someone you can make a plan with.”

The former couple, who first met 26 years ago on the set of the 1990 Aussie film The Crossing, split in October 2012 after nine years of marriage and two sons, Tennyson, nine, and Charles, 12.
