Seriously, how nice is Matt Damon?

Instead of walking straight down the red carpet to pose for the media, the Hollywood mega star took his time at the Aussie premiere of Jason Bourne for one very special reason.

The star of the new film wanted to make sure as many Australian fans got to have a selfie with him as possible.

And he hasn’t ruled out shooting the next film Down Under.

Matt Damon looked every inch the super spy at the premiere.

But he took time out to pose with fans, who were thrilled with meeting the star.

The Oscar-winner said he was even house hunting in Bondi when he thought The Martian was going to be filmed in Australia.

Speaking to reporters at the Sydney premiere of the fifth Bourne installment on Sunday, the actor said he “definitely wouldn’t rule out Australia.”

This young child in a wheelchair was beside himself at getting an autograph from his idol!

Even Alicia made sure she spent valuable time with the fans.

“We were going to shoot The Martian here but we couldn’t get the rebate,” Matt explained, referring to Aussie laws that changed with regards to governmental rebates for international movies being shot here.

“We were too late to get the deal so we shot in Budapest.”

Matt continued: “[Jason] goes everywhere. I never thought that he would end up in Las Vegas but he does in this one, so I definitely wouldn’t rule out Australia.”

Sam even turned up to the premiere, looking stunning.

And Aussie stars flocked to the red carpet to see the newest sequel to the spy thriller.

Samantha Armytage looked stunning in a black wrap dress, while The Bachelor star Tim Robards rocked a grey suit.

And former Bachie Tim Robards couldn’t resist walking a red carpet.

But the real red carpet winner on the night was Matt’s Jason Bourne co-star Alicia Vikander, who wore a stunning rust-coloured print gown.

It’s been nine years since The Bourne Ultimatum first premiered.
