The past year has been packed with milestones for Martha Kalifatidis, from getting engaged to finace Michael Brunelli and moving in to a lush Bondi apartment. And now, the former Married at First Sight star has launched an exciting new career venture.
Martha announced on Thursday that she has launched her beauty podcast, Swipe Up, alongside her best friend Roj Torabi.
The weekly podcast will feature the beauty influencers reviewing makeup products, procedures and treatments, as well as giving listeners advice on sex, dating and relationships.

(Instagram)“The best part about this podcast is that there are no rules. We say what we want, we do what we want and no one is stopping us. There is no brief and I can’t tell you how happy that makes me!” Martha said of her exciting new project.
“I think it’s all well and good to have a chat about something on Instagram but it’s limiting in that a person needs to be seated, holding their screen to their face watching slide after slide of what you say,” Roj added.
“But what if they want to tune into the conversation as part of a busy life when things are all over the place and they’re on the go? That’s why we needed Swipe Up. We wanted our audiences to feel they could have us with them regardless of where or what they are doing.”
Shortly after the podcast went live, Martha admitted the process had been “hard” and took a long time to “make it work”.
“We cover everything from like, what’s my skin type? What moisturiser should I use? To like, which BBL [Brazilian Butt Lift] should I get?” she said.
“Also, we have teamed up with Chemist Warehouse so every week we are going to be recommending some products that we select,” she continued. “So stay tuned for that, keep an eye out for that.”
Martha’s debut podcast comes a week after she announced her engagement to Michael after more than two years together.

Martha’s comment section lit up with congratulatory messages in honour of the big news.
Chrissie Swan commented, “Congrats lovers! 😍,” and Big Brother’s Ellie Gonsalves, who recently announced her own engagement, penned, “Congratulations baby girl ❤️.”
