She’s a heartbreaker! Mariah Carey dumps Bryan Tanaka

It’s officially over.

Mariah brought Bryan along as her date to the world premiere of Mimi's World.

Mariah Carey and her backup-dancer-turned-boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka, have reportedly split after just five months of dating, according to TMZ.

ICYMI – Bryan, 31, first crossed paths with the singer a whopping ten years ago, when he was hired as a dancer in her Adventures of Mimi tour.

But it seems history alone wasn’t enough to save these two from the gurgler…

As if plucked from the mind of Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, the demise of their steamy romance reportedly comes down to three factors: money, jealousy and fame.

“Mariah got sick of footing the bills for her BF … for things like Gucci and Balmain and super expensive shoes. Bryan also loves jewelry, and we’re told he was always in the market for expensive watches and chains,” says TMZ.

Many have suggested that Bryan has been Mimi’s “toy boy” for years.

As for the jealousy, the outlet reports that Bryan developed an “unbridled fury” over Mariah’s relationship with ex-hubby Nick Cannon.

Of course, Nick and Mariah — who were married for six years and share 5-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe — continue to maintain a close relationship for the sake of their children.

“She’s been chummy with him for sure, mostly for the benefit of their twins,” the outlet said, before adding: “They vacation as a family and go to dinner and parties together, sometimes without the kids. We’re told it drove Bryan insane.”

But things reportedly reached a breaking point when Mimi attended the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards last month with her two children and her ex-hubby by her side – a display which Bryan felt “disrespected” him.

Bryan reportedly felt “disrespected” by the family’s outing.

It’s understood Bryan reacted to their closeness by “flirting” with over women in plain view of the pop diva.

We can’t imagine Mimi would be impressed with such a retaliation… in fact, the outlet says she now believes his “endgame” wasn’t everlasting love, but fame.

News of the couple’s split won’t come as a surprise to everyone — after all, many fans labelled their union a fauxmance in an effort to drum up ratings for the 47-year-old singer-songwriter’s recent reality TV show.

“I think the whole reality show is fake,” Mimi’s ex-hubby Nick Cannon said of the E! documentary Mariah’s World. “I’m a producer so I know how [it works].”

Nick made the shock slam while he was chatting to SirusXM radio host Howard Stern, according to US Magazine. He says a major giveaway is the carefully arranged, soft-focus lighting that follows Mariah, 46, everywhere she goes in the show.

“You can’t have a well-lit private conversation,” Nick says. “Like, that sh-t doesn’t happen. I don’t buy none of that sh-t.”

He added: “It feels like they wrote the story. That sh-t is like a soap opera.”

Hmmm, very interesting! We’ll let you be the judge.
