Matthew “Matty J” Johnson and Laura Byrne found love on the The Bachelor Australia but only a week after they took their romance public, things might not be as rosy as they seem.
Yep, it’s been revealed that Matty is offering regular girls a chance to get their pash on with him!
But calm down, folks, because although the hunky Bachie did just joke to NW about having an “open” relationship with Laura, they’re not ditching their exclusive status just yet.
Instead, the lip-locking is just part of a reality experience for Madame Tussauds that Matty is participating in. Phew!
The Bondi hottie will be getting a virtual makeover, and us regular plebs will be able to sit down with the artificial Matty J and even steal a kiss – or five!
Plus, the augmented reality experience is said to be so realistic that it is almost impossible to tell the difference between the fake Matty J and the real thing. All of our dreams have come true!
“I’m beyond excited to be working with Madame Tussauds Sydney on this new and interactive experience,” Matty J revealed of his new role. “It’s not every day that you get to be part of such a unique initiative with a prestigious global brand. I can’t wait to launch my very own augmented reality experience.”
Meanwhile, Madame Tussauds are thrilled to be working with the Bachelor. “After listening to the feedback of our guests, we wanted to launch an interactive experience featuring the much-loved Matty J,” said Mark Connolly, the General Manager of Madame Tussauds Sydney.
“We’re delighted to have him on board, and look forward to giving the public a truly unique and memorable experience.”
Well, virtual Matty J is better than no Matty J.
