There’s nothing like a celebrity throwback photo to brighten up our day. And on Wednesday, beloved Survivor star Luke Toki did just that!

The father-of-three shared a hilarious throwback photo to his “glory days”, and looked unrecognisable with long blonde dreadlocks.

“How’s this photo from back in the glory days 😂 @biancakoteka. Dammm A lot as changed since then,” he captioned the snap alongside a friend.

The photo was taken in New Zealand in 2002, when Luke was just 15.

Luke’s friend from school, who was featured in the picture, later shared the post to her Instagram Story to reveal it was taken in New Zealand in 2002 when they were teenagers.

Dozens of fans and Luke’s former Survivor co-stars shared their entertainment over the throwback shot.

“Rage Against the Machine wants their lead singer back,” David Genat quipped, referencing frontman Zack de la Rocha’s signature locks.

Supermodel Megan Gale, who became close with Luke after her husband Shaun Hampson competed on Survivor, wrote: “Is that Bundy in a can?”

Luke first appeared on the second season of Survivor, where he became an instant fan-favourite.

2017 Survivor contender Sarah Tilleke simply commented: “So good!!” while Luke’s former Big Brother VIP co-star Josh Carroll wrote: “Holy s–t”.

Luke found fame back in 2017 on the second season of Survivor, where he became an instant fan-favourite.

A member of the Asaga tribe, he refused to follow along with alliances, and instead spent his time either whispering in people’s ears, or eavesdropping among the bushes, trying to make the game go his way.

The 35-year-old dad was unsuccessful in his first bid for sole survivor and came seventh on the show.

However, he struck up a close friendship with Jericho Malabonga, the eventual winner, and his other lasting friendships from that season of Survivor can be seen across his socials.

Luke returned for season four in 2019, where he competed in a Champions v Contenders season, where he came fourth.

But Luke finally got his long-awaited reality TV win in 2021 when he took out Big Brother VIP, awarding $100,000 to his nominated charity, the Perth Children’s Hospital.
