Stars pay tribute to the life of actor Luke Perry: “He meant so much to so many”

Beloved actor Luke Perry has tragically passed away, after suffering a stroke in his Los Angeles homes last Wednesday morning.

His publicist, Arnold Robinson, said in a statement that the 52-year-old actor was surrounded by his close family and friends, which includes his children Jack and Sophie and his fiancee Wendy Madison Bauer.

“The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time,” the statement said.

Luke’s fame skyrocketed when he scored the role of teen hearthrob Dylan McKay in Beverly Hills, 90210.

Enjoying a successful career in the decades that followed, Luke had a major role as Fred Andrews on Riverdale at the time of his unexpected death.

His co-stars, both old and new, have begun to share their grief over Luke’s death and share their condolences with his loved ones.

Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jennie Garth has told People “My heart is broken. He meant so much to so many. Such a very special person. I share my deep sadness with his family and all who loved him. Such a terrible loss.”
