The annual Met Gala is often referred to as the "Fashion Oscars", where the biggest celebrities in the world spend months working with high end designers to create jaw-dropping looks - and some turn out fabulously, while others are just ... weird.
And when Kim Kardashian walked the red carpet at the Met Gala yesterday, there were many who thought the reality star and makeup mogul sat firmly in the latter camp.
The 38-year-old mother of four wore a skintight, flesh-coloured dress from designer Thierry Mugler that defied belief, with her famous curves tightly bound into the outfit and her tiny waist cinched in tightly.
Her insane look did not go unnoticed, with The Project's host Lisa Wilkinson last night taking a swipe at Kim's crazy figure and describing her outfit as the "just fell in a lake" look.
"How is this even physically possible?" Lisa said of Kim's gravity-defying dress.
"Like, where has she hidden all of her internal organs? Because if you squeeze in the middle like that, the stuff has got to come out somewhere else."
It turns out the "fell in a lake look" was intentional, with Kim telling Vogue on the Met Gala red carpet that Mugler designed the dress with that exact idea in mind.
"'He had this vision of me, this California girl stepping out of the ocean, wet, dripping. It's a T shirt, just straight out of the ocean," Kim said.
Some fans speculated on social media that Kim had had a rib removed in order to create her jaw-dropping hourglass shape.
While Kim didn't confirm or deny the rumours, she did say that the dress took eight months to create and she wore a tight, custom-made corset from famous corset designer Mr Pearl underneath the dress.

Even Kim's personal trainer Melissa Alcantara, who goes by the handle @fitgurlmel on Instagram, confirmed that Kim wore a corset.
But, she also revealed her client's incredible figure is also down to her daily hardcore workouts.
"To make things clear…1. This dress is corseted BUT 2. Kim trains her ass off 6 days a f---ing week, she wakes up early AF and is dedicated," Melissa wrote on Instagram.
"I paved the road for her but SHE did the work! MOST IMPORTANTLY I don't give a s--- about your opinions on her body, if you think [it's] fake or not! I see her every morning, I see her train and I see her sweat and I see all the work she does outside the gym and THAT is commendable!"
We'll just be sitting here with our elasticised waists, thinking about how glad we are that we don't have to do any of that!
