Decades after walking out of the school gates Kylie Minogue revisited her old stomping ground of Camberwell High in Melbourne this week.

Decades after walking out of the school gates Kylie Minogue revisited her old stomping ground of Camberwell High in Melbourne this week.

The pop star attended the public school from years 7-12 and seemed delighted to meet with its current students as she snapped animated shots with them and posted the pictures on her Instagram.

“Thanks for having me back,” Kylie wrote.

It was during her high school days that Kylie was bitten by the acting bug and landed her first TV gig on The Henderson Kids which led to her breakthrough role as Charlene Mitchell on Neighbours.

Kylie has been residing in Melbourne during her time as a judge on The Voice which is handy for her parents who still live in Camberwell and sister Dannii who lives in nearby Hawthorne.

Kylie Minogue visited the students at her old Melbourne high school and took this shot which she captioned: “Thanks beautiful ladies from Camberwell High School!! Such fun to visit!”

The singer channeled school-skirt chic for her high school appearance.
