Protectively cradling her stomach and wearing a smile bigger than the brim of her fedora hat, Karl Stefanovic’s girlfriend Jasmine Yarbrough was positively glowing as she arrived at the Melbourne Cup Carnival last week.
Now Woman’s Day can reveal the reason behind her happiness, it’s believed the model and co-founder of shoe company Mara and Mine could be in the early stages of pregnancy.
Indeed, the 33- year-old couldn’t hide the beginnings of a baby bump as she posed in a black jumpsuit, before being spotted doing her best to cover it with her hand as she rushed through the crowd at the high profile event.
Equally, Karl, 42, was clearly worried about their privacy when he was even overheard telling the beautiful blonde they should have shunned the public event “to stay at Crown [hotel].”

Jasmine had her bump on display at the races.
And she covered it protectively as she and Karl joined the crowd.
The news the pair could be expecting comes as little surprise to anyone, including Karl’s ex wife Cassandra Thorburn.
A family friend reveals that Cass predicted weeks ago that Karl would reverse his vasectomy for Jasmine – which he did during a recent trip to Los Angles – and that he is desperate to “get her down the aisle.”
“Everyone knows that Karl can’t stand being alone and he would do anything to make Jasmine happy,” tells a close family friend.
Ex-wife Cass is not surprised by the news.

“There’s just one problem, Karl is done with kids. He’s said over the years he’s not great with babies and he’ll be in his ‘60s when they’re teenagers… it will be a difficult transition.”
It’s not just baby news that the pair are celebrating, either – a close family friend reveals the pair are also in wedding planning mode.
