Proud mum Karise Eden has introduced her beautiful little boy to the world!
Talking exclusively to The Australian Women’s Weekly, the first time mum posed with her adorable son Blayden near her home in Queensland’s Lockyer Valley.
Karise has described her son, who was born on Christmas eve, as a blessing and as her “little Christmas Eve bundle.”
Karise was just 19 when over 3 million viewers voted her as the winner of The Voice Australia in 2012. She won over many fans with the story of her humble background that saw her shifting between foster carers and refuges as a teenager.
The now 22-year-old was quickly propelled into overnight stardom, following her breathtaking blind performance the reality TV show.
She tells The Weekly, her life was great following the show until she began touring.
“Before I knew what was happening I was on tour around the country and I had the record company expecting big, big things,” Karise says.
The extra pressure of living a life in the limelight resulted in a very-near mental breakdown, but she persevered and released a new album back in October.
“I am super happy about finally releasing my own album and also becoming a mum soon. It’s a really exciting time for me,” She said in a statement at the time.
She is now happily focused on raising her son – her biggest life changing challenge to date!
