Whether you love them or hate them, the Kardashians reality TV show is here to stay, having just resigned a $100 million deal with the E!Network.
The matriarch of the family Kris Jenner brokered the $100 million deal with the E! Network on behalf of herself and daughters Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Her ex-husband, Brue Jenner will not be included in the deal. He previously announced he will be departing the show after the 10th season, however the former Olympian won’t be leaving our screens or the network with his own upcoming show revolving around his sex transition.
Kim’s husband, Kanye West was not included in the deal either, but he will continue to make appearances on the show.
US Weekly confirmed the $100 million deal with a source revealing that Kris was the force behind making it happen.
“This has been in the works for almost a year. Kris is a fierce negotiator. They were not planning on leaving E!, but she was playing major hardball and threatening to leave. E! needs them,” the source said.
“You’ll be seeing a lot more of the Kardashian family. This is a huge deal, which will see their involvement with the network and its digital properties expand well into the future,” another source revealed to Page Six.
The Kardashians had previously resigned with the network back in 2012 for a whopping $40 million. At the time, the deal made them the highest-paid reality stars in the world, and that won’t be changing anytime soon!
The family have a huge following, combined they have more than 79 million Twitter followers and 103 million Instagram followers.
“They need you! Y'all are the personalities, E! needs y'all!” Kanye West, said after the Grammys earlier this month.
“The Kardashians have a percentage of E! That's what I'm saying, they need y'all!” he added.
You can’t disagree with that!
