Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have amicably parted ways, but is Justin Bieber to blame for the break-up?
The pair, who ended their six-year romance last week, have stepped out together since announcing their split and are putting on a united front, insisting they will continue to “love, support and respect” each other.
But rumours are swirling that teen heartthrob Bieber is part of the reason behind the bust-up.
Orlando, 36, was reportedly upset when pictures surfaced of Miranda, 30, and Justin, 19, getting cosy at last year’s Victoria Secret fashion show.
“Orlando heard that there had been some flirting going on and he wasn’t exactly thrilled about it,” a source told US People magazine.
“Miranda had always claimed she was a fan of Justin’s music.
“She taught her son how to say ‘Bieber fever’ but it is supposed to have caused an issue.”
Despite the rumours, the pair was spotted out and about in New York with their two-year-old son, Flynn, walking hand-in-hand post-split.
They also appear to be sharing their apartment and were photographed leaving and entering the same building just moments apart over the weekend.
When questioned by reporters in New York, Orlando confirmed that “of course” he and Miranda were still on good terms.
“We’re not friends, we’re family,” the actor said. “Life doesn’t always work out the way you want it to.”
When asked why the darling couple split, Orlando put it down to “life’s a mystery”.
