Johnny Ruffo recently announced the heartbreaking news his brain cancer had returned after he experienced “an unexpected week of seizures and excruciating headaches.”
As the former Home And Away actor kicks off another round of chemotherapy over the festive season, his adoring girlfriend Tahnee Sims, 27, will be right by his side for every step of the way.
On Wednesday evening, Johnny’s long-term girlfriend penned a touching tribute praising her partner for facing such adversity.
“Not what we had planned for our Christmas Eve Eve this year but still smiling through it all & feeling as grateful as ever ✨🥊 @johnny_ruffo You can move mountains 🏔#f–kcancer,” Tahnee wrote.
Her post was accompanied with a photo of Johnny holding her hand as he received chemotherapy, and another shot of the couple in the car with Johnny proudly holding up his bandage.
The X Factor star was quick to comment on his girlfriend’s post, writing: “Thankyou for everything you do and beyond, I love you more than words can describe ❤️❤️❤️❤️ xxxx.”
Johnny, 32, also posted the same two photos to his Instagram page and mused: “Ding, Ding 🔔 Round 2, Fight!! 🥊Let’s do this! #f–kcancer.”

“Attack,” radio star Wippa noted of Johnny’s fight.
Johnny also thanked his girlfriend for her tireless support.
(Image: Instagram)The actor and talented singer first battled the illness in 2017, and had since been given the all clear after brain surgery and multiple rounds of chemotherapy.
Johnny has often credited Tahnee for saving his life when he was first diagnosed with cancer three years ago, after she took him to hospital.
Despite facing so much hardship, the couple’s relationship has flourished.
“We just have fun. We make each other laugh so much. You know that gut-wrenching laugh with tears coming from your eyes?” he gushed in an interview with Now To Love.
“We argue and fight just like every other couple, but we make up too. We kiss and makeup you know?”
