A friend of Amber Heard’s has made a shocking claim that Johnny Depp tried to smother his now estranged wife during a drunken rage.

According to the friend, Heard texted her after the terrifying alleged attack in December. She then rushed to the couple’s home in LA and found Heard bruised.
“I got to her apartment to find her with a cut and bruised lip, a swollen eye and a chunk of hair missing from the top of her head,” her pal told Page Six.
“This incident really stuck with me because she confided in me that day that she feared for her life after an intoxicated Johnny tried to suffocate her with a pillow.”
People magazine has released photos of Heard looking beaten after that exact attack.
She said it wasn’t the first time the 52-year-old actor had been violent towards Heard, 30, after being boozed up.
“I have personally witnessed the aftermath of Johnny Depp’s violent and abusive behaviour towards her on many occasions,” the friend said of Heard.
In court documents, Heard claims: “During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me.”
She appeared in court last week with a black eye, accusing Depp of throwing a phone at her face with much force, and was granted a restraining order against him.
Two days ago it came to light that Heard could walk away from the divorce with US$20 million after 15 months of marriage.
There are also recent allegations that Depp punched a wall so hard he required surgery, putting a one-month hold on filming the next Pirates of the Caribbean instalment in Australia last year.
