New father John Legend has taken to social media to stand up for his wife Chrissy Teigen after she received online criticism for being a bad mother.
The comments were sparked by a photo of the couple out to dinner in Hollywood in April, just two weeks after their daughter Luna’s birth.
Many online haters called the new mum out for being irresponsible leaving the baby at home that early.
But as her adoring husband pointed out, both the stars were new parents and he had not received any criticism at all.
He called on the haters to shame both of them, if they were going to shame anyone at all.

“Funny there’s no dad-shaming,” the 37-year-old singer tweeted. “When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn’t have to take it all. We’ll split it.”
The 30-year-old model was upset by the comments fans had made, taking screenshots of all the “passive aggressive” messages and resposting them with the comment “I went to dinner. People are p---ed. Good morning!”
John makes no secret of adoring his gorgeous wife, so it’s no surprise he’s sticking up for her and lashing out at the trolls.
The pair were still able to enjoy their first Mother's Day as parents despite the online backlash.
On the special day, John posted a gorgeous snap of mum and bub with the caption: "To my wonderful wife, @chrissyteigen. Luna and I are so lucky to have you in our lives.
"If our daughter can be as half as awesome as you, I will be so happy and proud. Happy 1st Mother’s Day!" So cute!
