Jessica Simpson has been totally open about the weight battles she's grappled with her entire life, particularly during her three pregnancies.
So it's no surprise that the star wants to proudly show off the incredible 45kg she's lost since giving birth to her third child, daughter Birdie who the 39 year-old gave birth to in March following an extremely difficult pregnancy.
During her challenging nine months, gained almost 50kg, tipping the scales at 108kg but used Instagram to poke fun at the various changes her body was experiencing, including her swollen ankles.
In January, she shared an image of her very swollen pregnancy cankles, asking her fans: "Any remedies?! Help!!!!?"
Later, Jess then shared a photo of herself revealing that she had "sciatica pain, followed by 3 weeks of Bronchitis".
"I figured since my feet fit in my sneaks today I needed to walk out a lot of anxiety!!" she wrote.
And now, Jessica has revealed she has lost her baby weight in the six months since Birdie was born, losing the 48kg kilos she gained during her pregnancy.
"6 months. 100 [45kg] pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240 [108kg]😜)," Jessica wrote on Instagram, alongside two photos of her brand new body.
"My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder. 💚."
Jessica has previously opened up about the intense media scrutiny she's received due to her weight over the years.
"I'd been scrutinised about my weight before I got pregnant, so I refused to let anyone steal the joy of my babies," she told InStyle magazine in 2015, referring to the enduring criticism she copped after having her two children.

"My husband [Eric Johnson] and I were looking at old pictures recently, and I asked him, 'Babe, why didn't you tell me to put the brownie down?' He said, 'You looked great.' He's always loved every curve on my body. And we've always had a healthy sex life," she said.
