Jessica Marais sparkles at first public event since release from health clinic

Earlier this month, Australian actress Jessica Marais spent two weeks in a mental health facility to focus on a ‘number of health issues’.

The Gold Logie nominee, skipped the TV Week Logies night to instead keep a low-profile and concentrate on her health.

Since her release from The Sydney Clinic at Bronte, the 33-year-old has remained out of the spotlight. But on the weekend, Jessica was photographed with friends at an event near Byron Bay’s Splendour In The Grass music festival.

Jessica was pictured on social media over the weekend looking happy and healthy.

According to The Daily Telegraph, it’s not known if Jessica attended the music festival, however The Packed To The Rafters star joined Australian musician Angus Stone and friends at a low-key party held by the Angus and Julia Stone singer.

Angus has a property nearby the North Byron Parklands where the Splendour In The Grass music festival is held.

The actress appeared to be having a great time with her boyfriend Jake Holly and friends.

Jessica appeared joyful as she posed with her boyfriend Jake Holly and friends for pictures that were then uploaded to Instagram.

The blonde beauty looked every part the festival queen with sparkling jewels glued to her cheek and her golden locks styled in loose curls.

In the past, Jessica has been open about her personal demons, revealing she has suffered from “bipolar episodes” since she was 12.
