Former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins has been devastated by shock rumours that she had a fling with heart-throb Australian actor Vince Colosimo.
While confirming the two are friends, Jennifer denies that she and the Lantana star — who recently separated from long-term partner, actress Jane Hall — are romantically involved.
Friends say Jennifer, 23, the face of Myer and girlfriend of model Jake Wall, 24, is upset that a gossip piece about her and Vince published in a Sydney newspaper has refueled the scandalous whispers.
But Woman’s Day has learnt that just recently, Vince and Jennifer were seen enjoying a “cosy breakfast” at their regular haunt, a Sydney cafe.
“They are certainly very close. I’ve seen them laughing and chatting together here a few times,” a cafe patron reveals.
“They’ve always been laughing and canoodling in a corner, looking very cosy indeed. I couldn’t help staring, because they looked so romantic, and though they’re both well-known faces, they looked completely relaxed about being seen together…”
