The pair, who met on the show The Client List, have added a baby boy to their growing family.
Their first daughter Autumn James Hallisay was born in November 2013, months after the duo married and now they’ve introduced Atticus to their party of four.
The mum-of-two announced the pregnancy back in January and as a result it was written into the script of the actress’s the prime-time drama Criminal Minds so she could take leave.
Chatting to American Baby, Jennifer gushed, “pregnancy is magical. I’m grateful… it’s not lost on me what a gift it is to be able to get pregnant.”
Before adding, “So many of us are busy or driven, we forget to take care of ourselves.”
“But when you’re pregnant, it’s all about you — and that baby inside of you. Enjoy a nap; for some reason our generation thinks we can’t do that! Really listen to your body. I hope to continue to be a little kinder to myself after pregnancy.”
