Janet Jackson announces she cancelling her world tour to start a family

Janet Jackson has hinted she is expecting a baby after she announced delaying her current world tour while she and husband Wissam Al Mana are "planning their family."

The singer was in the middle of her Unbreakable World Tour when she took to Twitter to share the exciting news with fans.

The 49-year-old posted a video to her 3.3 million Twitter followers on Wednesday.

“We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change,” the younger sister to the late Michael Jackson said.

“I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family. So I’m going to have to delay the tour,” she said smiling.

“Please, if you can try and understand it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”

Janet and Wissam, 41, tied the knot back in 2012, and have kept a relatively low profile.

The Qatari businessman manages a Middle Eastern empire spanning over 55 companies and is reportedly work $1 billion.

Janet initially delayed the 2016 portion of her tour back in December, telling fans that she had to undergo surgery for an unspecified reason.

She later clarified on Twitter that she did not have cancer, and had been given a clean bill of health.

“Thank you to all the fans for your love, your undying love, your loyalty, that means so much to me,” Janet explained.

“You are truly appreciated and it’s been a long journey, and you guys have been there each and every step of the way.”
