Alongside her video tribute to Jaimi, grieving mum Lisa penned: “I try to continue on […] At times distracting myself so much that I can’t think of anything… but then the quiet times come and everything comes flooding back, every feeling, every memory and I feel like I’m drowning in the pain… and I just can’t … do anything.

“But each day there are times when it’s ok… for a little while and I guess those little times will eventually get a little longer. 🌸 Today, at 7.10am, as she took her last breath a year ago, we honoured Jaimi by being at her favourite beach to lay flowers into the ocean. I hope that wherever she is – above, or at arms length in spirit energy she can still see and feel the love. Remembering you always our beautiful girl.😞🌸👼 Still feels like yesterday💔 Love from all of us.”

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to accurately articulate just how much I miss you; the hole you have left is immense… Every night I light your candle, turn on your fairy lights + take a moment to look up at the night sky. I hope you are happy + free up there darling spreading your sparkle; heaven is so lucky to have you. Love you forever + always xxx”
