It’s hard to believe it’s nearly been two months since cricket legend Shane Warne tragically died while on a holiday in Thailand.

In the weeks since his passing, Shane’s beloved kids Summer, 24, Jackson, 22, and Summer, 20, have been candid about their immeasurable grief.

On Tuesday night, Jackson revealed the coping mechanisms he’s used to stay positive through hard times.

Jackson said exercise has helped him keep on top of his mental health following his father Shane’s death.

The former SAS Australia star said sticking close to family and friends, and taking care of his physical wellbeing has helped him keep on top of his mental health.

“I recommend lifting weights, running and cold water exposure. That’s what helps me,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Mental health is very important and exercise is a great way to stay fit and healthy.”

“Surround yourself with good people and know that however you’re feeling now won’t last forever. You’ll be okay.”

The middle child of Shane and his ex-wife Simone Callahan also sent a sweet message to his followers who may be struggling with their own mental health.

“Surround yourself with good people and know that however you’re feeling now won’t last forever. You’ll be okay,” he penned.

The 22-year-old shared his sage advice alongside pictures of himself in the Run The Tan mental health charity event in Melbourne.

“Was great to run the tan this weekend to support mental health. Met some cool people while running it and was a fun way to do some cardio,” he continued.

At Shane’s state funeral in late March, Jackson said his father will always be his hero.

“You were so proud of me. Although I didn’t go down the cricket path, you didn’t mind. You just wanted the best for me,” he said during his emotional eulogy.

“I’m so proud you’re my dad, you were so full of life, you would walk into a room and everyone would stand up and be happy to be in your presence.

“I feel like I was robbed, because you were taken so soon. I’m glad I got to have you for 22 years. I wish it could have been more, but it is what it is. I promise to look after Brooke and Summer for the rest of my life.”

Despite his father’s high profile as one of the nation’s most well-known sports stars, Jackson has previously said that to him and his sisters, Shane is still just dad.

“I think I speak for Brooke, Summer and myself, we don’t see him as anyone else other than just our dad,” Jackson told the Sun Herald prior to his father’s death.

“We don’t see him as a legend. All the names people call him, we just see him like our dad and that’s it. We don’t feel privileged. He does what every dad loves to do.”
