Not long to go now! Jackie Gillies shares exciting pregnancy milestone as she counts down to welcome twins

Real Housewives of Melbourne star Jackie Gillies has shared her excitement at her belly “popping” as she approaches the end of her first pregnancy.

The 41-year-old, who is expecting twins in November with husband Ben Gillies, took to Instagram to share a photo of her burgeoning baby bump.

“Feeling HOT HOT HOT! Check out my #twinpregnancy pop. Not long now,” Jackie captioned her post.

Jackie’s exciting pregnancy milestone garnered dozens well-wishes from her high-profile friends.

“Oh honey I can’t even begin to tell you how excited we are. It’s been a long road babe but we are ready for all the cuddles,” singer Nat Bassingthwaighte commented.

“So excited❤️ you look beautiful my friend x,” celebrity stylist Lana Wilkinson wrote.

Jackie’s RHOM co-star Janet Roach replied to the photo: “Looking 🔥🔥🔥 xx cannot wait to meet these little trackers,” while former Housewives fan favourite Chyka Keebaugh wrote: “Oh baby girl. You look incredible.. not long now!”

In May this year, following seven rounds of IVF, Jackie announced she and Ben were expecting twins due in November.

“I’m having TWINS! It has been a bumpy IVF journey but all worth it. Thank YOU for your support XOXO!” she shared to her 127,000 Instagram followers at the time.

Jackie, a successful practicing psychic, said a premonition from her grandmother told her she would be become pregnant with twins.

“I actually dreamt my passed away grandmother came to me and said ‘you’re going to have twins’,” she told The Herald Sun earlier this year.

“And then look at us, here we are. It’s still a shock to be frank, we’ve been trying for so long, nearly two years. It’s been a long process.”

Jackie has always been candid about her struggles with fertility, and revealed she went through seven rounds of IVF, egg retrieval and transfers.

“A lot of ups and downs and it’s been emotionally challenging but to get to where we’ve got to has been so rewarding. You’ve got to keep pushing forward and having faith,” she said.

“There were times where my faith was completely and utterly tested, I won’t deny that. There were times I cried, saying ‘why is this happening?’, ‘am I meant to be a mother?’, ‘is this ever going to happen?’.”

On Monday Jackie shared a promotional shot for the upcoming fifth season of The Real Housewives of Melbourne, which wrapped up shooting in late July.

Jackie and her fabulous baby bump were front and centre, alongside returning co-stars Janet Roach and Gamble Breaux, and newcomers Kyla Kirkpatrick, Cherry Dipietrantonio, Anjali Rao and Simone Elliott.
