It looks like Wolverine has turned into a big ol’ softie! Hugh Jackman was spotted gushing over his mate’s adorable little tot during a family day out recently.

The Aussie actor couldn’t be happier to be in his native home, and looked delighted to spend a day at Sydney’s Bondi beach with his loved ones.

Hugh enjoyed brunch with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and their two kids, Oscar, 15, and Ava, 10, at local restaurant Bills, while bonding with a friend’s toddler.

It was clear that Hugh adores kids as he and the sweet tot had a merry time chatting.

The famous couple have been holidaying in Australia for the past few weeks, and last week attended a function for Adopt Change, the charity founded by Deborra-Lee to improve the international adoption process for Australian prospective parents. They’ve also spent time educating their kids about life down under.

“It’s always great to come home,” Deb says. “I love hearing the Australian accent, I love the food, the gumtrees, all the classic stuff.

“I love sharing this with my kids, their Australian heritage.”
