Home and Away Star Gives Birth To A Baby Boy

It’s a week before her 46th birthday and Home & Away actress, Emily Symons has given birth to her first child.

The new mum who plays Marilyn Chambers on the long-running Aussie soap reportedly gave birth to a baby boy.

The official statement read: “Emily Symons and Paul Jackson welcomed a beautiful little boy into the world. Mother and baby are both doing well.”

It’s wonderful news for Symons, who announced her pregnancy earlier this year.

“I very much thought it couldn’t happen and I was too old,” Symons said.

“I thought it would be impossible but it isn’t. I’d given up, really, I thought I had tried every avenue that was available to us. My advice is to not give up if you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed by the whole process.”

Symons’ partner, producer Paul Jackson has three children from a previous relationship; Tommy, Georgia and Grace who are all reportedly looking forward to welcoming their little brother home.

It’s not yet known the name of the new addition.
