mer Neighbours star Holly Valance has given birth to a baby girl.
The 30-year-old and her husband, property billionaire Nick Candy, 40, welcomed Luka Violet Toni just a few days ago.
“Holly is at home,” Nick told UK newspaper The Telegraph. “We aren’t having any help at the moment. Holly doesn’t want any; she wants to do it all ourselves at this stage.
“She is a perfect mother. It was a natural birth. She is from a big Australian family, with younger siblings, so she knows exactly what she is doing.”
Nick said their daughter’s name is a tribute to his late father, who died only recently.
“It is such a shame that dad died six weeks before Luka was born, but I had the best role model possible in him so, hopefully, if I can be anything like the father he was to me, when it comes to raising Luka, we’ll be onto a winner.
“Her nickname will be LuLu but if she ever goes into business LuLu Candy doesn’t quite work.”
The pair wed in September 2012 in a lavish Beverly Hills ceremony.
