Aussie actor Guy Pearce is expecting his first child with Game of Thrones star, Carice van Houten.
A publicist for Carice confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter saying, “Carice and Guy are thrilled to be expecting their first child.”

The happy couple also acknowledges the reports on their Twitter accounts.
“I’m ready for your shadowbaby jokes,” Carice, 39, tweeted.
And Guy, 48, wrote, “Nothing like the prospect of a shadowbaby to change your mind about becoming a father!”
The word “shadowbaby” refers to van Houten’s character on Game of Thrones, the priestess Melisandre, who gave birth to a shadow demon which was sent to assassinate Renly Baratheon.
Guy ended his 18-year marriage to psychologist Kate Mestitz in October 2015.
