Georgia Love’s exciting new TV role

'It was a nice feeling being back in that environment.'

Georgia Love may have quit her news anchor job in Tasmania to fulfil her quest for love in TV’s The Bachelorette but after finding the man of her dreams, she’s also scored a brand new job.

The 27-year-old reality TV star will be co-hosting Studio 10 while host Sarah Harris takes her summer break.

Love will be covering for Harris alongside fellow panellists Joe Hildebrand, Denise Drysdale and Jo Casamento.

Love has taken some time out of the spotlight to enjoy her new relationship with Lee Elliott and also mourn the loss of her mother Belinda who sadly lost her battle with cancer late last month.

This past Friday the former newsreader went on Studio 10 to announce the co-hosting gig and later revealed to NewsCorp she was excited for the gig.

“The Studio 10 team are absolutely wonderful and they made me feel so at home and welcome,” she said of her new role on 10.

“I wasn’t too nervous as I do feel comfortable and at home in a TV news setting so it was a nice feeling being back in that environment.”

Love is expected to take up her gig next month.
