After keeping their romance under wraps for two years, Aussie model Gabriella Brooks has spoken out about her relationship with Hollywood heartthrob Liam Hemsworth and shared rare details about his famous family.
The couple were first linked back in December 2019, when Liam was photographed with Gabriella in Byron Bay on a brunch date with his parents Craig and Leonie – instantly sending fans into a frenzy as it was just months after his divorce from Miley Cyrus was announced.
From that moment on, the couple kept popping up on various dates including beach trips and hikes up to the NSW northern coastal town’s iconic lighthouse. They even visited LA pre-pandemic in January 2020 and were snapped hugging outside a gym.
Gabriella has been dating Liam since late 2019.

But over the weekend, the 25-year-old Chanel model opened up to Stellar about what her relationship with Liam means to her.
“My personal relationship is very, very important and very sacred to me. And I feel like in an industry where so much is put out on show, there are some things you just want to keep to yourself,” she said.
Despite wanting to keep their romance under wraps, Gabriella said she “completely understands” the media fanfare around them as a couple.
“But at the end of the day, I guess I just like having that for me. But he’s great,” she said, adding that she shares a special bond with Liam’s parents and his older brother, Thor actor Chris Hemsworth.
“They [the Hemsworths] are great. They are the most beautiful people and I’m very lucky to know them,” she said.
In late 2019, an insider told US Weekly that Liam would only ever introduce a girl to his family if it was serious.
“Liam feels comfortable with Gabriella. His family approves of her and really likes her, which is very important to him,” the source said.
In November 2020, Gabriella and Liam made their debut as a couple on Instagram during his brother Luke’s 40th birthday party.

To celebrate Luke Hemsworth’s 40th birthday, the entire Hemsworth family and their respective partners had a Peaky Blinders themed birthday party in Byron Bay.
Chris uploaded a photo of himself and wife Elsa Pataky with birthday boy Luke and his wife Samantha, parents Craig and Leonie as well as Liam and Gabriella.
In the black and white snap, all eight were dressed in 1920s costumes and Liam’s arm was lovingly wrapped around his girlfriend.
Gabriella has worked with Chanel and Calvin Klein, and is the ambassador for Aussie swimwear brand Seafolly.

The couple, alongside Chris and Elsa, attended the exclusive black tie Gold Dinner – a charity gala raising funds for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Liam shared two photos from the event to his personal Instagram account – in the first the two couples posed for photos with fellow guests Lauren Phillips and Luciana Barroso, whilst the second is a more candid selfie of the Hemsworth crew at their table.
It wasn’t until June 2021 that Liam and Gabriella made their first official outing as a couple.
