WATCH: Friends star explains he didn’t tell Prince William and Prince Harry to ‘f*** off’

It was a joke, I never said that. They're A: bigger than me. And B: that'd be rude.

Apparently Matt LeBlanc’s on air joke about telling a couple of Princes to ‘f*** off’ didn’t quite translate with the United Kingdom.

The Friends star had to explain himself on Conan on Wednesday, after he previously told the talk show host and his viewers in January about the time he told Prince William and Prince Harry ‘where to go’ when they asked him whether there would be a Friends reunion.

The 48-year-old actor explained his royal remarks were the hot topic of conversation on a recent trip to the UK, with every reporter asking him why he would say such a thing to the Princes.

“It was a joke, I never said that. They’re A: bigger than me. And B: that’d be rude,” LeBlanc told Conan O’Brien on Wednesday.

The talk show host gave LeBlanc a chance to redeem himself on air, to which the actor looked convincingly into the camera – reminding us of the Joey Tribbiani days – to speak to Conan viewers.

“‘I would like to say… they are very handsome.”

It left the room – and we’re sure the Princes, too – in stitches.
