The 40-year-old actress revealed her happy news on Instagram, posting a gorgeous desert photo of the pair kissing, which features her enormous ruby engagement ring and what appears to be a romantic picnic setting.
“Ummmm so this happened….#Engaged #Dubai#Happiness,” the elated beauty captioned the shot.
Eva and her media baron hubby-to-be, who is the head of content and television at Spanish company Grupo Televisa, are in the United Arab Emirates to attend the Global Gift Gala which is held at the 2015 Dubai International Film Festival.
This will make the Desperate Housewives star’s third trip down the aisle having previously been married to actor Tyler Christopher from 2002-2004 and NBA player Tony Parker from 2007-2011.

Despite ruling out tying the knot for a third time, it appears the star has had a change of heart after meeting Jose.
“I’m truly in love, every moment we get to spend together is a blessing,” she has gushed of her man.
“People want a secret to looking good, but there isn’t one. I’m in love, that has a lot to do with it. I take good care of myself, it’s no secret, I eat a healthy diet and I exercise.”
